REVIEW: Infected by Scott Sigler

It’s been a while since I just sat down and read a book cover to cover. I’d been listening to Nocturnal by Scott Sigler over the last few weeks, and now that I’m caught up, I figured I’d show him my support and grab a copy of Infected. I woke up pretty early this morning and read it cover to cover.
It was a well crafted page turner. As a sci-fi novel, it goes to some neat places and I appreciate Sigler’s talent at using Sci-Fi as the delivery mechanism for a good horror/thriller story. There’s some pretty spectacular gore and the climax is quite satisfying, with just a quick mention of the loose ends that will lead to quite an entertaining series. Kudos to whoever was in charge of typesetting the book. There’s some word art that manages to capture the unique experience of LISTENING to Scott Sigler directly in print.
